By The Commission:

On January 14, 2005, Julie Orchard, Secretary of the Public Service Commission, held a scheduling conference in this docket to set the schedule for the Commission to determine the terms of a standard pole attachment contract and to resolve any outstanding issues affecting the contract. At the conference, the parties agreed to the following schedule:

February 11, 2005                              Technical Conference for Parties’ Engineers and Technicians to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the PacifiCorp Office at 1407 West North Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah

 

March 3, 2005                                    Technical Conference for Parties to discuss and settle terms of the standard pole attachment contract to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Room 427 of the Heber M. Wells Building, 160 East 300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah

 

April 1, 2005                                      Parties file briefs on unresolved terms and provisions of the standard pole attachment contract

 

April 29, 2005                                    Parties file reply briefs and a joint matrix summarizing their positions

 

By May 6, 2005, the Commission will notify the parties if a hearing is required for the Commission to decide the unresolved issues and terms of the standard pole attachment contract. The Commission will also inform the parties if they need additional information for the hearing from the parties and will indicate the form in which the additional information must be provided. If hearings are required, the hearing dates are as follows:

May 24 – 26, 2005                              Hearings begin each day at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission hearing room, Room 426, on the Fourth Floor of the Heber M. Wells Building, 160 East 300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah

 

Individuals wishing to participate in the hearing by telephone should contact the Commission at least two days prior to the hearing to make arrangements. On the day of the hearing, participants must call (801) 530-6716 or call toll-free 1-866-PSC-UTAH (1-866-772-8824) at least five minutes prior to the beginning of the hearing to ensure participation. In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify the Commission at 160 East 300 South, Room 400, Box 45585, Salt Lake City, Utah 84145-0585, telephone: (801) 530-6716, at least three working days prior to the hearing.
